Power Users

The philosophy behind Buxr project has always been centered around giving more power to the community. The website sets the framework, the admins enforce the rules, but it is the community members who take the lead and move the site forward. You, the community, decide what deals to share, you choose which ones are hot, and ultimately you grant the prizes to the winners each day. Buxr is completely transparent in this respect.

Giving power to the community sounds great in theory however reality makes certain corrections. As much as we would like to, we can't allow everyone modify everything around the site as it can quickly turn into chaos. Instead Buxr admins gradually grant more powers to the members who stay with the community long enough, “learn the ropes” and earn our trust. Here is a quick round up of the powers that get granted to the members as they become Power Users:

The main criteria we are looking at when selecting the new candidate (usually announced monthly) is the accuracy of deal submissions. High reject ratio (the ratio can be found on your profile page) is a sure way to get black-listed for life. In addition we look at your overall participation in Buxr life. Being a good citizen is what matters the most. It means things like engaging in discussions, answering questions, clarifying deals, helping others, etc.
