Your random awards now have expiration date

A heads up to a recent change in the contest rules. Your random awards now have expiration date. They will expired 30 days from the day you receive them. I have set the expiration to the awards you have accumulated before the change to 60 days so you have plenty of time to use them.

To check your current awards, go to the contests page and click on 'My Activity' tab. Here is a direct link: http://www.buxr.com/awards

      I would trade 5 or 10 blue highlights for 1 of a different color choice.

      Maybe something in a snappy green color.

      Hard cash already has that snappy green color, so I'm going to hang onto it. Big Grin

    Yes, for the next 60 days I expect to see like 50% or more highlighted deals. Eeek

    Will kind of lose their meaning until everyone burns through their backlog.

      It probably won't be that bad. You might see 10-15 more than normal daily.

      A few average deals will end up with highlights for a couple of weeks.

    I noticed the change a few days ago but it seems that the ones with the later expiration are being used first rather than the ones with the earlier expiration.

    For instance I have a highlight that's set to expire in 60 days but I also have a highlight that expires in 27 days. When I use one of the highlights it's ignoring the one that is due to expire the soonest.

    In the case of the highlights it's really not important since it seems everyone has these in mass quantities but it could be something to look at on the other awards.

      Yan,The older ones are not being used first. I have been highlighting some of my deals to get rid of the ones that I have that are ready to expire soon...and it is using the ones that are not even close to expiring, so I still have all of mine that are ready to expire in 10 days and the new ones are gone.

    Currently 10 out of 50 "top deals" are highlighted that seems about normal.

    I purchased a new microwave which had an offer of a free subscription to Food & Wine Magazine (expiration date 8/31/11
    followed directions... you say it's "expired"
    that is an untruth in advertising..and does NOT make any points with me!!
    unacceptable business ethics.... BBB needs to know.

      I think they think Buxr is voiding the magazine offer they got with a microwave they purchased...

      Yan I had no idea you have such pull! I just purchased through Newegg some hard drives with $15 gift cards, how about bumping those up to $150 cards for me. Thanks!
