You've Got to Fight for Your Rights to Get Good Customer Service

submitted on January 27, 2011 by pablos17 in "Stores / Merchants", last updated on January 29, 2011 by HouTex
No matter how careful a consumer you are, sooner or later you will get stung with a product that doesn’t work, a fee you shouldn’t have to pay or a policy that simply doesn’t make sense.

The good news is that you can complain effectively, and get results. You just have to know how. You must:

Know Your Rights
Know What You Want
Be Concise
Don’t Be a Jerk
Remember: The Company’s Problems Are Not Yours
Carve Out Some Time
Get Names and Call-back Numbers
Take Notes
When in Doubt, Get It in Writing
Keep Moving up the Ladder
Escalate
Get Smarter

Pablos, I get the impression that this information was drawn from another article.
If that is the case, please also insert a direct link to that article in the description.
