The link is not working for me at work. If I can get it to function when I get home, or if its fixed by then, you are definitely getting a vote up on this one. I've been debating off and on buying this game for about a year, but the cheapest I've ever seen was $15.00.

Link is working now. If you find it does not work initially, just wait a few minutes and try again.

World of Goo was released a year ago. It's a Gamespot Editor's Choice, with a critics score of 9.3 (20 reviews) and user score of 9.0 (2247 votes). They thought the simple physics-based building game could just be the next casual-gaming obsession right up there with classics such as Tetris and Lemmings.
Here's more about it from Gamespot:
Instead of guiding lemmings to an exit in each level, in this game you're leading globs of goo across similarly dangerous terrain to pipes that scoop them up. Real physics and the demands of gravity always have to be taken into account, which makes this one of those easy-to-play, hard-to-master puzzle games that gradually takes over your entire life. Goo towers need to be carefully balanced so they don't become top-heavy and collapse into a pile of slime, whereas bridges have to be carefully reinforced underneath so they don't come tumbling down.

If you like this kind of simple yet addictive game, it's worth a try, but can be bought these days as cheaply as $11.88 + shipping at Buy.com.

Actually the total with shipping would be $15.77, as Solstice has already pointed out.
