Why Macy’s Sales Never End? When a sale is not really a sale.

So true. That goes for a bunch of other merchants. Michael's for e.g. OR Restaurant.com - unless it's 70% or more it's not a sale.

Any other merchants you know whose sales never end?

You may have seen the latest television commercials for 20% off in “Macy’s Men’s Wardrobe Sale” or read about 50% discounts in “The Hot Home Sale” or maybe 10% off in the “Furniture & Mattress Sale.” Or how about Macy’s “Hot List Sale,” the four-day sale specials? They sound difficult to resist, don’t they? While other department stores like Neiman Marcus pulled back from having too many recession era sales and consumers tentatively started to spend again, Macy’s sales go on and on, and on… They are the sales that never end.

Another thing lots of people don't realize

Some need to be used with a Macy’s store credit card – which carries a staggeringly high 24.5% APR – and others without. Of course, if you don’t pay off your card on time, the “sale” discount is wiped out by the punitive interest rate. Macy’s doesn’t release statistics on how many customers don’t pay off their cards on time, but Sluzewski says that roughly 50% of all Macy’s customers use store cards.

The three arts & crafts stores Michaels, Joann, Hobby Lobby always have a coupon for at least 40% off one item. I still don't understand why they do so well in voting with them being offered all the time. Coldwater Creek usually has at least 20% discount offers. These aren't necessarily sales but they don't really end.

Once savvy shoppers realize this, they never buy from these stores without a sale or coupon. Bed, Bath and Beyond is another place that constantly issues coupons. So do the prices in these stores include the value of the coupon? After all, they're in business to make a profit. It's a wonder that anyone ever buys something there at regular price. If you do any comparison, you'll often find the "sale" or discounted price may be the same as another store's regular price.

It's like the local grocery store that offers double coupons. Double coupons are great if they are truly double but when prices are padded to make it the same as other store prices it isn't much of a deal.

True - they always factor in the price of the coupon in their prices. It is criminal these days to pay retail.

Also paying for AntiVirus software's from McAfee/Norton or Kasperesky is a NO NO. They have numerous Free after MIR offers.

I have to say I still love Kohl's. After the rebate check I am getting back and the coupon's I had and the one from Buxr it was $104 for this!

Now a days we can see same sales from GAP, ESPRIT, BR. These deals pops up everyweek with same discount on our BUXR

I don't know how they can keep offering those deals! In Florida you can also use the coupon on Beverages. I hope they keep them coming!

I think you have to spend much more in Smokey Bones (or any other stake house) to enjoy your visit. This coupon is a teaser.
