Why email signatures are dumb

submitted on October 12, 2012 by DebsFreebies in "Member's Lounge"
There are few, if any, compelling reasons to add a boilerplate signature to your email message, and it is probably safer to leave it off. You won't offend anyone by the lack of a signature, while almost anything you do write can be interpreted as cloying, annoying, rude, or condescending.

My signature. I don't have a problem with it and if anyone does, I don't care. I like to pass on "Luck"

May your blessings outnumber the Shamrocks that grow. And may trouble avoid you wherever you go.

In the professional world email signatures are a key factor to who you are and not where the message was replied from; whether or not it was iPhone or iPad, who really cares!
