Who won the Presidential debate?

submitted on October 9, 2008 by MikeG in "Member's Lounge"
Who do you guys think won the Presidential debate? Does it really change a party members mind?

This site has an interesting compilation of debate reaction polls: http://www.pollster.com/blogs/.....hall_d.php

Looks like Democrats and Republicans thought their respective canidates won, but independants leaned towards Obama.

I will vote for Obama because I hate to think that Sara Palin may get to rule the country. I think it would be a disaster

You must have a very high tolerance for lazy senators with no experience! A real work horse he is, was in the senate 143 days and voted present most of the time because he wasn't man enough to make a decision either way! Sarah is great! She actually had to balance budgets, was in charge of thousands of employees and went against her own party to stop corruption!
Ignorant my friend, is a person that says we would save just as much oil as we would drilling for it if we would just keep our tire pressure up and keep our cars tuned? Who tunes a car anymore?
Can't talk about his; wife, pastor, terrorist friends, name(Hussien),experience(or lack of),how he got his house, Acorn organization, voting record, abortion views, second ammendment, large donations from freddie mac and fannie mae, etc.....
He's the real deal alright, a big cry baby. Just a Senator wanting another raise!

I give my car tune-ups. That is why my car is 10 years old, running better than most vehicles on the road, and still getting better gas mileage than many newer vehicles. Whether mass action tune-ups would reduce the oil demand that dramatically I don't know, but I'll will confirm that it would have an impact.

You may have other points embedded in your comments, but the fact that his middle name is "Hussien" is nothing more than circumstance and an opportunity for some amusing irony.

You never did answer about his no experience but you really can't can you? He has none! He will take care of you just like he did his brother living in a mud hut in Africa or his Aunt that lives in the slums! He should start his benevolence at home before he goes on the road with it!Democrats are all alike, Biden gave 1 tenth of 1% to charity. They are big on giving money away just as long as it isn't theirs!

McCain nearly dropped off the academy and by his own admittance this was one of those cases when his name helped him out

You don't need to tell me what Sarah Palin's IQ is. I find it hilarious that you can find ads like this on the web pages with her name:

      Sarah Palin's IQ is 120.
      Are you smarter than Sarah?

So WHAT has that got to do with Obama Hussien's background or credentials? His true background is one off hate, socialism and corruption.I'm not stuck on McCain but I think Palin will be running things sooner or later!
