Which Florist would you recommend? (Poll)

submitted on February 15, 2011 by orangearrows in "Stores / Merchants"
Just trying to figure out which florist would you recommend?

I personally tried 1800 Flowers and Proflowers. Would recommend Proflowers to anyone. 1800 Flowers - did not get what was advertised. Proflowers I have shopped 5-6 times now and they have been good every time.

Let us know your choice.

True - 9.99 delivery + $4.99 for valentines day special delivery ( not sure what "special" they do - it's delivered by a UPS guy) + $2.99 handling fee. ~ $18 bucks

Guess they charge since they have to ship the flowers overnight.

When you use FTD, you are still, in effect, utilizing your local florist as they are the ones that get the order and fulfillment.

I'm betting the local florist you like is independent and not the FTD affiliate.

Here even the grocery stores are better. Kroger has been running a commercial that says they are the largest florist in the country.

If you have a County Market or Cub Foods near you try them. You can call them and they will help you place an order by phone if you can't get there. They will special order things for you if they don't have it in stock and most locations deliver. Not to mention the fact that they are quite a bit cheaper than most florists but have a great selection.
