What Wii games are the best bang for your buck???

submitted on November 20, 2009 by mcgirl4 in "Products / Gadgets"
I'm getting a Wii for the holiday season and want to know what games are the most entertaining for the price. I want to get my moneys worth and have a good time. Suggestions?

Don't get any Madden or NBA Live games. They are really hard to play, and kind of a rip off. I like Wii sports, and guitar hero.

Get an Xbox 360 unless its 99% for younger children. I got mine when it 1st came out (won a lottery and everything...) I bought it and Zelda. So after all these years all I own is Zelda, Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, and Wii Fit.

I have Monopoly, but it gets on your nerves after awhile. I really like Price is Right, I also like Wii Fit, and I like the Wii Puzzler...wii sports is awesome! I am getting ready to get the new Mario Brothers game too! I will have to go home and check out which games I have that I really like. There are more then just the ones I listed.

I love Wii Fit Plus. It's not just for getting a workout but it's loads of fun. Wii Sports Resort is pretty fun. I always liked Game Party 2 for darts but there are other fun mini games on there. The New Super Mario Brothers game is awesome, especially if you were a fan of Super Mario 3 on Nintendo. Super Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros. Brawl, The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and Super Paper Mario were great for fans of the series. If you give me more of an idea of what types of games you are looking for I can probably help. Last I counted I had 70+ games on Wii. I'm a hardcore gamer but enjoy the casual and kiddie stuff as well.

So far all I have is the Wii Sports Resort and we love it. I think I'm looking for more 2 player competition like games.

Super Mario Bros. Wii looks like fun. I've enjoyed Super Mario Party on GameCube, but have yet to purchase on Wii.

new super mario bros. game is really fun. Nice to play with more than one person at the same time, and not have to take turns.

We just got Wii Fit Plus last week and absolutely love it! All our family is into it

Kids compete over points and don't realize they train body balance at the same time - a very clever way to get kids to exercise Smile

We bought it at Costco for around $85. Apparently they got fresh stock just recently...
