What's Your Favorite Brew? Or the funniest name?

submitted on June 3, 2013 by HouTex in "Products / Gadgets"
Clover and I began discussing microbrews in comments on a deal, and I thought I'd move it here to invite everyone to chime in. We have a local microbrewery that produces a few seasonal brews and they all have funny names. The locals are crazy about them.

Like Lawnmover, http://www.saintarnold.com/beers/lawnmower.html
and Weedwacker, http://www.saintarnold.com/beers/weedwacker.html

Which brews do you like, to cool off during the hot summer? Cool Or any other time, for that matter! Amused

As a bartender and beer drinker, I've seen some great names. Boulder Brewery has Hazed and Infused and Sweaty Betty. Terrapin Brewery has Hopsecutioner and Moo Hoo (a chocolate stout). These are just a few of the countless great names. Fun topic.

I like some of the local Austin, TX brews... Circle Blur, Like Oak Pilz, Austin Beerworks Peacemaker and recently discovered a tasty Widmer Brothers (out of Portland, OR) Alchemy Ale.

I still have not found the beer of my dream here in the US.

I love darker creamy beers (but not as dark as Guinness stout) with sweeter taste. The best beer I tried was in a Vienna pub many years ago, most likely locally brewed.

Any tips on what I should try?
