    I use wireless broadband at home but currently I am connected via my phone using 3G. The download speed is 1.04 MBit, the upload it 0.11 MBit

      The explanation is really simple. When we bought our house wireless was the only way to get hooked up. Comcast was too slow setting up access points. They later caught up with our area but I was happy with the wireless broadband and never took the time to switch. It is also a bit cheaper than cable.

    What about standard Cable internet service? I guess I could select Wireless though as I do use my own router to create a network internally. But my technical connection type is Roadrunner Cable internet.

    You forgot an internet connection type: fiber optic.

    Current using AT&T Uverse fiber optic internet; 6Mb download; only paying $35/mo. Mr Green

    Right now I'm at 13.88 Mbps download and 3.04 Mbps Upload. I'm on Comcast Cable internet as it's the only thing in my town.
