    Original recall 8/20/09 was only for the silver players (1.5 million), this one expands the recall to the pink and purple ones (up to 4.2 million).
    Now there are 14 complaints of the DVD players overheating; in seven of the cases, the overheating caused a fire that damaged property, but no injuries have been reported.
    The DVD player with remote control was imported from China and sold at Wal-Mart stores from January 2006 through July 2009 for $29. Return Model No. 1002, 1002 PUR, 1002 PINK to the store for a full refund.
