Verizon Wireless Launches New Cell Phone Trade-In Program

submitted on October 1, 2010 by siggy38 in "Stores / Merchants"

Customers who participate in the Trade-In Program will submit their devices for appraisal online at and receive a postage-paid envelope to mail in the devices. In exchange for trading in their devices, customers may receive a Verizon Wireless gift card by mail. The amount of the gift card will be based on the make, model and condition of the device and can be used toward the purchase of phones and accessories or to pay Verizon Wireless bills. Devices that have no appraised value can still be sent in for recycling.

There are many places and companies that will take your old cellular phones and give you money for them. It's good to finally see one of the bigger mobile carriers jumping on board. Let's hope they stay afloat by doing so.

Yup, my 3 years old Verizon LG phone is worthless according to their matrix.
However, it still works just fine and does what I need it to.
