Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile Launch Isis Payment System

submitted on October 25, 2012 by lootango in "Member's Lounge"
Carriers today launched a joint initiative aimed at replacing your debit card -- with your smartphone. Today AT&T, Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile launched Isis in the trial markets of Salt Lake City, Utah and Austin, Texas.

Very interesting... I guess I can't use it on my i-phone yet, but I'm sure paying by cellphone will be common place in a few years time. Where will I store my Driver's License/ID when my wallet is gone?

 Sure would!
I'd prefer to stick with paper or plastic.
