Too bad the rates aren't going even lower. The postal service is on the decline, especially if they eliminate Saturday delivery.

Yes, but they expanded Sunday delivery for certain large businesses, like Amazon.😊

I noticed that about Amazon, but those orders come from third-party carrier.

On the news they said USPS would be delivering on Sunday for them.
I guess they meant as a last resort, LOL.
I have no idea how a drone would get through the downstairs secured front door, hop in the elevator, ride to the 3rd floor, and deliver my packages to my apt.
Haha, if that ever happened, I would fall over laughing. Amused

The Amazon drones will be used for PRIME deliveries that will deliver to your doorstep or in your yard. I tried to find the drone delivery areas, although they are testing in Northern CA because of the huge distribution center in the Central Valley.

"Octocopter" drones that will fly packages directly to your doorstep in 30 minutes.

Never heard of Sunday delivery unless it's special delivery.

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen a decrease. Eeek
However, for me, it's pretty insignificant since I do mostly heavier 1st class, Priority Mail, etc. Roll Eyes

But for junk mail senders, this is good news. Amused
