UPS Website Unavailable

The Worldwide shipping behemoth recently went down to millions of unsuspecting users. Tracking packages is currently unavailable as is most of their website. Their Facebook wall post has become bombarded with the usual "When will it work again?" and "I can't find my delivery dates!". Much to the dismay of it's customers, there is no ETA at this time when the issue will be resolved.

    Looks like employees are being affected as well.... A user from Facebook commented on their outage
    You need to fix "Package Timecard Web" as well. We couldn't punch in or out this morning! Sad Hope my paycheck is right!

      Yes, it seems only the interface is down, the actual tracking system is working. Big Grin

    Ups.com is still down. I couldn't find any info on when it is expected to come back alive.

    I am concerned because we just shipped 3 boxes and can't access our UPS account.

    Looks like they are finally getting control of things again. The latest is posted on the main site (which is currently operational) http://www.ups.com/content/us/.....stems.html

    Additionally, their Facebook wall has an update as well
    Here is an update to our earlier post. We are still experiencing technical issues with some of our online applications. However, the ability to track and ship packages is available. International shipments and deliveries will be impacted and experience possible delays. Our technical support teams are working to resolve these issues as soon as possible.     Finally, its fixed. Glad to hear UPS drivers now have genuine real time GPS tracking now, so if your package gets delivered to the wrong address they will know where it is.
