I have been using Windows 8 for about 3 months now. I am not 100% ready to jump on board yet, but I do like the layout of the system. With the "Metro-Mode" I like everything layed out in front of me like apps on a Smartphone.

The article will be updated when the OS is in RTM (Release To Manufacturer). Until then, it is not yet available. Keep checking though, and save that Blog to your favorite browser. Big Grin

I would advise confirming that your hardware will run Windows 8 before investing any money. I have been beta testing and found several of my PCs could run Win 8 Dev and Customer Preview, but not the newest Release Preview due to CPU requirements.

Anyone getting a new pc / who has gotten one since June is eligible for the $14.99 Windows 8 upgrade. Many stores like Staples have programs in place to refund the $14.99 after purchase, by mail-in rebate, so hang on to your receipts.
