I appreciate you speaking out, and I hope everyone was as open as this when they feel there is a problem. Now, let me address your comments.

First of all, I disagree that you have not been winning. I think you have been posting great deals and the community certainly takes a notice. Here is an easy way to see it:

Each member's profile page has stats about number of deals the member posted and prizes they won. There is also a ratio of how many prizes the member received per 100 deals they posted. You stand at a respectful 12.2% which means on average you received 12.2 prizes for every 100 deals posted. For comparison, CouponNut's ratio is 6.5% and DebsFreebies's is only 5.9% (these are some of the members you mentioned). Essentially you have been winning twice as many prizes as they do, they just post more.

    Relevant member profile pages:
    http://www.buxr.com/profile/dealhunter11
    http://www.buxr.com/profile/CouponNut
    http://www.buxr.com/profile/DebsFreebies

Second, the way I see it, cash prizes should not be your main motivation to post deals. If it is then I have to agree with you that it is time to move on. There are plenty of money making sites out there, you can find some on this page: http://www.buxr.com/wiki/money_making_sites

I truly hope that our members post deals because they want to help others, and the cash prizes are a nice side benefit. At least this is how I envisioned it when I started the website. If you don't see it that way then please don't hesitate to let me know: http://www.buxr.com/feedback

The nice side benefit you mentioned is a big motivation driver here. If you remove that, do you think people who submit deals (the major contributors) will be stick around long?

I have to agree with Yan, and further applaud Buxr's attention to complaints and unfairness. Yan and his staff have been open and honest in discussing how the contests run and have made changes over the years to improve them, and to challenge the users to succeed in the same way that the site succeeds. Is it perfect? No. Will they continue to make changes as issues come up? I can't imagine they won't.
Even as someone who flies in from time to time when things are slow, I appreciate your participation and note many deals you post. I don't vote by poster, so I don't track these things, but I have noted many deals I have bought or thought about buying are ones you post. Selfishly, I hope you remain active in buxr.
And frankly, if you want to "game the system" to make more money, it's not all that hard. It just takes more time and effort.

Ok, equipurple said it all. I also have noticed your deals and hope you stay. You have brought your own style to buxr which is different than other posters and makes the site better. I'm here for the deals and would miss your participation.

As they say, winning isn't everything. I'm ADDICTED to Buxr...it is like a "fix" every day. It's competition enough just to be the first one to post a great deal. It's icing on the cake if you "win" because of it. Sure, I LOVE the money and would like to win more often and more money but if it stays the same, I'm content with that. Buxr has given me a community, a place to find my own deals, has taught me so much about deals and coupons....the benefits cannot be measured in winning money.

I post to share them. My ratio of winning is one of the worst, I think! LOL

I'd like everyone to keep something in mind. Buxr is its own animal. Nothing out there like it. You KNOW the deals/coupons are good and verified when you see them, not always true on other sites. We'd all be quite upset if something happened and there was no more Buxr.

I work two jobs and also Pet-sit. I post when I find something I think is worth posting (usually coupons) because that is my passion. I vote for what I believe is a good deal because you need people to vote! Dealhunter11...you post great deals and I usually always vote on yours. I don't post on any other sites but have seen buxr members there. I don't believe you will find the same benefits.

Let me point out that most people on Buxr do post on other sites. Why i was pinpointed i'm not sure. My lack of postings does not mean that i have moved on, i have simply been enjoying some well needed time with my family this summer. AS a matter of fact we are off to Santasvillage today. I will be on this site as long as my fingers will type...l.o.l. As debs said,it's an addiction. No the money at Buxr may not be great, but the community is...that's the best reason to stay. Have a great weekend everyone!!! Big Grin

I disagree on the "most people post on other sites." I have been on Buxr since January and I have to say I think the payback is great. It is not an addiction for me but with the economy the way it is Buxr helps pay my bills. I have no desire to go to other sites even though I could make more money. I am very happy with Buxr! How do you know you were pinpointed?

(Re-read the original topic for the answer to your question, clover.
I was curious too why dealhunter11 made that statement about mommy25.)

Sorry if i offended you (Clover), or anyone else with my comments. I would like to say that i do know of 3 other people that do post deals on other sites, (no need to name names), Which is fine in my opinion. Also the money here on buxr is good, It has helped me and my family alot. I am grateful to be able to make money doing something i like. Big Grin
