I was going to get a netbook, just to stream netflix movies. Girlfriend ended up getting me a laptop for my birthday instead...that she uses more than I do...

I have a nettop, a desktop computer based on an Intel Atom. It is the size of a small toaster and has an external power supply like a laptop. Never a problem running anything.
