Subway Adds Another Ordering Option with Facebook Messenger Bot (Take a Poll)

submitted on April 19, 2017 by HouTex in "Stores / Merchants"

In addition to web ordering at and app ordering Subway has just launched a new way to order using a bot for Facebook Messenger, and it's available at more than 26,500 U.S. locations.
Wonder if you can use a coupon with any of these ordering options...probably not...
To use the bot, visit and tap ‘Start Order.’ The bot will ask for the user’s location to find the closest Subway restaurant. Then, the user is guided through selecting the sub bread, cheese, vegetables and sauce, as well as drinks, cookies or chips. Users choose their payment method with Facebook’s payment system or Masterpass, a digital payment service from Mastercard, and the order will be ready for pick up in 15 minutes or less.
1. How often do you order from Subway?
2. How do you place your order? (Select all that apply)
 Mobile app
 In person
 No Subway orders
3. Would you try the new Facebook Messenger bot?
