Spreading Out Small Puchases Increases Happiness

When it came to buying things, researchers found that people were often happier after spreading out smaller purchases over time instead of splurging infrequently. (These purchases only affect happiness in the area of life it has an effect on.) So, going to see several small bands is more likely to make you happier than splurging on one-time tickets to mega-star bands.

    I find this to be partially true. When it comes to shopping for more Apparel type things I'd be much happier splurging, but if I was to go to several small concerts instead of a big one I'd be happier. Big Grin
