Snap by Groupon - Get Cash Back on Groceries [Compared to Ibotta & SavingStar in Comments]

submitted on February 25, 2015 by HouTex in "Sales / Promotions"
I just found another option to get cash back on your grocery purchases - http://snap.groupon.com - and these offers are good at any store!

Here's how it works:
First, you download the app for iPhone or Android or use the website to browse the available offers. Then you buy the promoted products at any store and snap a photo of your receipt. Upload your receipt within 2 days of making your purchase and you'll get cash credited to your account within 48 hours. When you reach $20 in earnings, you can request a payment. You can earn $1 for each friend you refer.

Snap is free to use, but if you don't redeem any offers for 12 consecutive months, Snap may begin charging a monthly Account Maintenance Fee which will decrease your cash balance over time.

Check out the offers available today: the first 4 are an easy $4 - $1 each for any brand of pasta, toothpaste, glass cleaner, and toilet paper. Expired offers will be either hidden from view or labeled "all gone."

Getting the app now... I'm excited!

Does anyone know how it compares to the similar apps mentioned above? Ibotta and savingstar?

Groupon Snap seems to be starting small, but I'm hoping it will grow soon. I was interested because it's not store-specific. But now I'm going to try them all, thanks bemicmom and mdshopper1!

It looks like Ibotta has more offers and more ways to earn. There you can get rebates when you shop online, upload receipts, or link to loyalty cards. See https://ibotta.com/how

      Savingstar
has grocery rebates, online shopping, and a credit card - https://savingstar.com/coupons
