Should Non-Powerusers Lose Deal Credits When Their Deals Are Rejected Due to No Value Because of Unknown Past History?

submitted on June 13, 2010 by deby32953 in "Buxr Website / Contests"
In two hours yesterday, I lost 2 deal credits for submitting Shar's Candles & Signature Scents Sachets which I thought were legit, rejected "No Value." Apparently, in the past, these have been submitted & noone received the product. I did a thorough search at BUXR & these did NOT come up. I was told that perhaps BUXR needs a database for such rejections. Meaning no matter how hard I searched, I wouldn't have found them. In the meantime, I lost 2 deal credits, not being a Poweruser, wasn't able to fix or resubmit something better till other deals cleared out. Is this fair? I would like to hear your opinions. Isn't there a way for Admin. to give deal credits back when this happens?
I also lost 4 deal credits for duplicate deals after thorough searches at BUXR. I asked admin. multiple times for tips on searching as I searched every way possible to avoid duplication. Still waiting a response along w/the other 9 questions asked. As you know, I verified dozens of your older deals. Any tips? Thank you so much! Deb

Deby, I cannot take individual deal credits but I can reduce/increase member's daily submission limit and I have done so in the past.

First, Power User status is not for life. I have in the past revoked it because of member's inactivity or because their deals have degraded.

Second, the 10 deals per day limit is not fixed either. I have in the past increased/decreased it to various members.

So far your reject level is one of the worst among all members (currently over 25%) and if it stays this high going forward I may have to take an action. Just something to think about.

It's because you continually reject deals that you feel the members are too unintelligent to figure out. "Too complex, jumping through hoops..." Also, there's no way I can know when an offer's been submitted & rejected in the past when I've searched for it. I've asked for advice about searching & never got it. I tried submitting freebies since they seem to be popular & search like crazy 1st, then submit, but UP they pop! Duplicate deal! Why couldn't I find them? My reject level is due to this reason. Also, being a new member, I'm also a very active one, submitting 10 deals a day for almost the last month straight yet I've not seen any of the past deals except the last months so I don't recognize deals like the old timers do. That's why my reject level is so high. I really don't think threatening me is the help I was looking for. Thanks a lot.
