Using Amazon TextPayMe, you can send a payment with your text-enabled mobile phone. A payment can be sent to a recipient's e-mail address or mobile number. There are no fees for this service (other than standard text messaging rates).
After the payment text message is sent, if the amount is over a certain value, you will receive a phone call from us on your mobile phone to ask for payment authorization. In the phone call, you will be prompted to enter the 4-digit PIN you created during the verification process to authorize the payment. If there aren't enough funds in your account, you can choose to use a credit card complete the payment.
If it's a request for payment (and over a certain value), the mobile phone receiving the request gets the call for authorization. To accept payment requests, log into Amazon Payments account, change mobile security settings, review them and click "edit" and "put a check in the box to accept requests for payment," and then "Update Settings."
If the payment request is not fulfilled or declined within 30 days, the payment request will be automatically canceled.
