Sears Launches New Vacation Web Site - With Layaway (Poll)

submitted on June 21, 2012 by HouTex in "Stores / Merchants"
The new site is up, with 100 pre-paid vacation plans priced under $399, at .

Personally I would approach the layaway option with caution, because layaway is not always a cheaper financial decision, and if I can't afford a vacation I would just skip it this year and save up for the next one. If you do check it out, be sure to read the fine print regarding late payment fees and airline booking fees.

Layaway used to be reserved for big-ticket items like televisions or leather couches. Now, you can use it for your summer vacation.

On Wednesday, Sears will unveil, a new site and service in which customers can book hotels, cruises, car rentals and flights, as well as 100 pre-paid vacation packages starting at $399. And you can put any of those packages on layaway.

I love my Bill Me Later through PayPal because it gives me six months to pay off things like my Vizio TV with out interest. I however would not pay a vacation that way.
