mdshopper1, Dots offered junior, misses, and plus size fashion apparel and accessories in sizes 0-24. These were value-priced and low quality. They were mostly located along the East Coast and in the Midwest, but recently opened a lot of new stores (maybe too many too fast). The stores targeted women between the ages of 25 and 35, and had plenty of competition without distinguishing themselves IMO. After they turned off their customer base, they couldn't get them back.
