Sam's Club Members Get a Chance to Try eValues for Free (Benefit of Plus Membership)

submitted on August 29, 2010 by HouTex in "Stores / Merchants"
In an attempt to get you to upgrade your Sam's Club membership, they are offering a free opportunity to try their eValues (coupons loaded onto Sam's Club card) between September 1-6, 2010.

Sounds like if you join by then, new members will also get to try it, with $300 in total savings available during those 6 days. The eValues program is a benefit of Plus membership, which costs $100 per year versus the regular $40 membership.
So you'd have to weigh the alternatives whether this is worth it to you to upgrade your membership to Plus. Otherwise, you can just enjoy this one-time trial at no extra cost beyond the regular membership. They do have a "100% Satisfaction Guarantee" - if you don't like it, they will refund your entire annual fee.

I tried this for a short time in April. You can get your e-values e-mailed to you or print at a kiosk in-store. They base it on your shopping habits. I used it only once during that month. Wasn't impressed, but to be fair, I might have gotten better deals if I stayed on longer.
