An old deal got rejected. Why?

submitted on February 16, 2009 by bnwsmile in "Coupons / Coupon Codes"
My Email:
"Your recent submission titled '$20 Savings Pass from 1-800-FLOWERS' has been rejected due to the following reason: Merchant Request."

Hmm.. This was up for about a week. I'm not sure how something being a merchant request can be rejected I'm confused. Someone want to explain what this means? Aren't most things (any freebies) merchant requested? Just trying for some clarification to better my understanding for future postings =) Thanks in advance!

Once in a while we get an email from a merchant (1-800-FLOWERS in this particular case) who want a deal submission taken down for one or another reason. If we receive an email like that we often (but not always) have to comply. This was one of those cases.
P.S. I updated your topic title. "Rejected" is not very explanatory

We understand, rejection can be hard to take sometimes. Wink
