Regarding Rejected Deals and Disscussion Topics

submitted on May 13, 2010 by Solstice in "Buxr Website / Contests"
The forums are not really the place to post rejected deal grievances, even if an error has been made on the part of a moderator. (Don't forget we are human too.) This portion of the site is reserved for deals, stories, and other bits of interest to the general public or the Buxr community as a whole.

If you have a grievance, respond to the support address of the e-mail you received during rejection, or use the feedback link located at the bottom of every Buxr site page.

If an error has been made, then it will be remedied, but the entirety of the Internet does not need to know, much less want to hear, about your singular rejected deal. Smile

Solstice, maybe can you add this info to the Wiki "respond to the support address of the e-mail you received during rejection". Thanks.

Probably a good idea. There are always exceptions of course. If there is a question in the topic that pertains to the whole community, or that it would be helpful to answer for clarification purposes, then its useful to everyone. Sadly this only occurs in a few of the grievances, as 99.9% of rejections are justified. Its actaully pretty rare to have rejection errors occur.

I have a better idea. I can enable comments to rejected deals for the submitter, power users and admins. This way the conversation will continue online even after the deal is rejected and you don't have to rely on email (which at times can be slow).

Even better Yan. However, comment voting on rejected deals should still be shut down.

Very good idea! It would definitely streamline the process. Thanks, Yan.

Bumping the topic as a friendly reminder.
It comes up every long while, so I thought I would mention it since it occurred to me.

I should mention, since its not in the original text of this topic, that the real handy part of using the the Deal Submission feedback system is we can actaully respond to you more quickly.
