Try This Realtime In-Stock Search Engine to Find Items Locally

submitted on July 10, 2010 by HouTex in "Member's Lounge"

I haven't had a chance to test this thoroughly, but http://milo.com/ is a search engine with a mission to "track every product on every shelf of every store in real-time." So far they include 50,000 stores with 2.8 million locally available products. Check it out, and see how well it works for you.

I just noticed the option to set a price alert, and they'll notify you by email.

This relies on stores keeping their inventory tallies accurate. Wouldn't trust is at stores like Sears though.

Sears is not part of the Milo database. Maybe they exclude unreliable stores!

Excluding a major retailer like Sears goes totally against their slogan to "track every product on every shelf of every store in real-time."

My mistake Red Face - I sent an email to Milo asking about Sears, and I got a reply today - it is included. I don't know why it didn't show up for me before, but it's in the list of stores now.
