Ralph's Grocery charged (again) for overcharging customers

submitted on May 13, 2010 by YanBz in "Stores / Merchants"
I don't think we have this chain in IL but folks in CA and other states where they operate should be careful

Ralph's, the Kroger-owned grocery chain in Southern California, was fined multiple times in 2008 and 2009 for overcharging customers, false labeling, and false advertising. On Tuesday, the chain was charged again for the same offenses after Los Angeles County conducted an undercover operation.

I'm always watching them ring up my order. I've caught stores a couple of times.

What I love is when you get to the coupon part, and if your not watching carefully, sometimes if a coupon does not scan the cashier will just try to palm it as oppose to dealing with it.
