Question on deal submission

Guys,

I am a little confused here with submission rules... Earlier today I submitted this deal:

The title clearly says "Sale + $5 off coupon"

Few min later chinnam submitted this deal:

http://www.buxr.com/deal/disne.....-set_30861

This item is from the same store, same sale and same coupon that I posted earlier. Naturally I marked it duplicate but admin removed the flag citing the fact the item and coupons are diff. submissions.

This totally does not make any sense, as I can go and post tens of other products on sale from the same store and apply the same coupon... It would be considered as spamming.

So just wanted to hear your opinions guys...

Technically speaking we allow submitting product deals that use previously submitted coupons. We would be missing on a lot of great deals if we didn't allow it.

Practically speaking, it is all about how well you can 'sell' your deal to the Buxr community. Offering a site-wide sale/coupon is always great, especially when it is a popular store, however if the sale has certain products that stand out as hot bargains - feel free to submit them as well. It is up to everyone else then to decide which submission is hotter.

Yea I feel the same way Vectra. I have to say that it is one of the things I really dislike about buxr. And I can't really even say that it's buxr's fault since it's the individuals that choose such a crappy tactic to win....
