submitted on June 27, 2011 by CouponNut in "Member's Lounge"
If you purchased Kellogg's Rice Krispies or Cocoa Krispies between June 1, 2009 and March 1, 2010 you may be entitled to a cash refund from a class action settlement. Class action members will receive $5 per box purchase, maximum $15. Submit cash refund claim on-line or mail postmarked by November 16, 2011.

This settlement involves the Kellogg Company falsely advertising that Rice Krispies and Coca Krispies support a person's immunity system, without having competent clinical evidence to support the claim. I think class action suits can be a sham sometimes because everyone under the sun tries to get in on them and capitalize, however, it does keep some companies honest. It's a toss up!
