Proctor & Gamble Raises U.S. Pampers, Bounty and Charmin Prices

Citing soaring costs for energy and materials, P & G announced this week that there would be price increases on their paper products. This follows their announcement last month that U.S. detergent prices would go up 4.5 percent.

The average list price increases are 7 percent on Pampers diapers, 3 percent on Pampers wipes and 5 percent on both Bounty and Charmin paper goods.

Their rival, Kimberly-Clark, will likely follow suit, according to this article

    Hope that doesn't mean they'll cut back on offering coupons!

    I wish "home" diaper companies would come back. I know it's not a possible thing to do. All of the disposable diapers going in to the landfills and also the "Adult" disposables...what is the solution?

      Well clover, you can always start your own diaper business, why wait for someone else to steal your idea for the comeback of diaper delivery service. Getting moms to use cotton diapers might be another thing! I always used cotton diapers and usually had about 4 dz. to wash everyday! Big Grin
