I paid with my debit card since it was only a $6 purchase. I didn't think much of it at the time but I bet that's exactly what they want. If you can't dispute it then they can keep your money.

Well I'm trying to get a better understanding of the place. A few of their deals have been best deal of the day so I would assume numerous people have bought things from them here.

I know it's a lot easier to make a complaint about a company then it is to leave good feedback so you never know. With the amount of complaints out there I assume that it is not a reputable company but I've been proven wrong in similar instances before.

I assume Yan would like all the info before deciding to blacklist a company so I figured I'd set up this poll and help get more info for him to be able to make his decision.

I did the same...purchased something from them...then read reviews. I'll wait a little longer...then call my credit card company if the gift card does not arrive.

I got burnt with savemore once, never bought from them anymore. Stick to Groupon, Living Social and eversave. I thought I was the only one but thanks for bringing it up and discussing about it.

I've also used OnSale before for gift cards with no problems. It seems for every few reputable sites in a category, there are a few others that try to take advantage of the system and steal people's money.

Bought burger king deal, got the confirmation. But, voucher will available from 23rd if Jan. This is too worst. For the first time I bought this and got this stupid reply. Never faced any issue w/ onsale deals. Savemore shoulf be banned

I just remembered that I did purchase the Chili's deal from this Buxr Deal:

I used it but it took a 1/2 an hour to get the Manager at my Chili's to approve it because she knew nothing about the promotion. She made it seem like she was doing me a big favor.
I took the survey.

A Chili's manager didn't know about their own $15 gift card?

In this case, you did receive what you bought from savemore.com, right? How would the manager know you paid only $7 for it?

In this case you had to print out the deal which clearly showed the pay $7 for the $15. It showed that it came from Corporate. It was annoying but worth the deal. It wasn't a gift card but a printed out deal.

I have been keeping an eye on their Facebook wall for information. There are 39 new complaints in the last 3 hours, but one comment I thought might give you a tiny glimmer of hope to resolve your problem with SaveMore, mooncow728.

This person finally got a response when dealing with them by email,

...just stopping by to say that while I have had a problem or 3 in the past, they were cleared up in a timely manner. I did stay polite, and gave them a reasonable amount of time to respond. They did so to my satisfaction and I appreciate it. just got my autozone card in the mail today! hang in there, go the email route, and hopefully they will be able to fulfill your requests too. I was/am truly surprised for a change!

This looks promising! Maybe your bank will work with you to get a refund - another person posted this on http://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/www.savemore.com

Update: I asked my bank to help and sent several emails to help@savemore.com, I finally, after a month, received a full refund. I am not sure if they finally got to my email or my bank helped push it along, but thankfully it was resolved. I will not be using them again.

Since this topic was posted, I have tried several times to stop emails from SaveMore and remove my account. I have not been able to get rid of them! So far all I can do is label the emails as SPAM so that I don't get them in my inbox anymore. If anyone figures out how to remove an account with them, please post!

They do not have a policy that requires them to remove you when you request it. I can't remember exactly what it's called and don't have time to figure it out at the moment. There is also no way to remove your account. The only thing that I've read that may be helpful is that if you e-mail them nonstop and ask them to stop sending you things and to delete your account, it will eventually work. I don't know if it is really worth the effort though if they go to your spam box. Best of luck.
