Powers user please help and share our admins workload.

Deals that are flagged can only be fixed by Admin. When CouponNut or another Power User fixes a deal they do it and then hit updated. I hope that helps. Any Power User can activate a deal which I have done when it is a simple deal. Some I don't feel comfortable in doing because of the complexity of the deal. Power Users should not have Full Power. That is why there is Admin. I hope that helps bemicmom! Happy Holidays!

Also realize that some pending deals don't have power user controls on them, so they can't be verified by a power user. And I totally agree with Clover, some deals aren't as simple as what some might think so better left to admin.

Duplicate deals are coming up from pending queue ( admin activated )

I would like to join bemicmom in his/her plea for Power Users to be more active with the queue. Buxr is run on a shoestring budget and we usually only have one admin on site. I am often there to help, however I have a full time job besides Buxr and it really limits the time I can dedicate to the site during the day. I would like to avoid hiring another admin since that means we would have to reduce daily prizes and giveaways. So as you can see, this limits me with very few options but ask for your help.

Do not activate deals you are not comfortable with. No question about that. Don't even touch the deals submitted by users whose accounts were created recently (say in the same day as submission). However if you see deals from old timers pile up in the queue, and the admin is not there to clear it up, please take some time and lend a helping hand. Pick a deal you feel comfortable with, verify the discount, and either leave a comment you did so, or better yet make necessary edits and activate it. If each of us activated just 2-3 deals a week it would make a big difference for the site.

I am not Power user, I see the deal in pending with all that verification points. Can I do that?
I read somewhere in the wiki that if 3 users verify it will automatically move ahead from pending queue. Any 3 users or 3 powers users I didn't remember

If there are some points per successfully activated deal , no deal will be in the queue .

I would like to add my 2 cents in here as well. Everyone has a schedule of things to do in their life which includes rest; we all need it. Therefore, if you are awake in the earlier hours of the day or very late at night and there is a deal or 2 in the queue, please look into it. I have seen too many times where a "great deal" gets skipped over and expires before ever making it to the main page.

I am on the east coast and I get up early. I will activate a deal if I feel I can do it without any problems.

For those that do find the the time to help, I will offer a "Thank You" ahead of time.

If nothing else I'm sure it will add to your good karma, which means that you will stand a better chance of not being reincarnated as snail, or something worse like a Human Resources director.

Huh? Does that mean a newbie like me could help O.K. deals?

Please be careful to make sure everything on the deal is accurate - tags, expiration date, terms - and that the codes actually work before activating. If the type of deal needs to be changed (product, sale, or coupon) or the link doesn't work correctly, an admin will have to fix it.
