submitted on May 4, 2011 by jack69darin in "Products / Gadgets"
Now hopefully there wil be some sales gong on, and it will even be cheaper. Got mine for $199 during Christmas, with a $75 Wal-Mart gift card.

Nintendo is dropping the price of its Wii game console to $149 and including a Mario game in the bundle, the company said early today.

Very good news. Now I may just go ahead and break down and get one. Friends have said that the Wii is a very good option for streaming Netflix too -unlike the XBOX 360, you don't have to sign up and pay for XBOX Live.

That's a great price! I may have to get one since I'm still mad at Sony for the whole Playstation Network fiasco.

I think they are getting rid of the old before bringing in the new! I am also thinking of the Netflix TV for $8.99/month.

It says it comes with Mario Kart Wii and a steering wheel attachment but no Wii Sports or Wii Sports Resort now. Wii Sports will be available separately for $20. The thing I wonder is if they are going to be packaging these with the Wii Remote Plus or the standard Wii Remote. After owning both the Motion Plus attachment and the Wii Remote Plus, I would say never buy a Wiimote that is going to make you buy that stupid attachment! It makes it so much bigger and awkward to play games when you have to turn the remote sideways.
