New Internet Explorer Flaw Affects All Versions, Every User (900 million)

submitted on February 1, 2011 by orangearrows in "Member's Lounge"
Pretty much everyone who uses IE might be affected. Time to switch over to Firefox / Chrome / Opera.
Make sure you install the patch.

On Friday, Microsoft announced it had discovered a security flaw in Internet Explorer, used by over 900 million people, that could potentially affect every single user of the browser, regardless of version, on Windows XP, Vista and 7. The flaw rests with how the browser handles MHTML files.
