Americans who slap $1 pricetags on their used possessions at garage sales or bazaar events risk being slapped with fines of up to $15 million, thanks to a new government campaign.

    Socialism here you come! The government is overstepping its boundaries. Everyone who buys from a garage sale knows they need to use extra caution

    Well, we would sure hope they use caution. But this is how some dangerous items that have been recalled are passed to some poor unsuspecting person (the unsafe baby items to a new mom). So while I don't agree with the fines, I do want some way to better inform the buyers, just to prevent any injuries to a child that could be avoided.
