I would say DON'T get Logitech EX100 bundle. I have it and while I've not had problems, it is very cheaply made. I think you'd be disappointed. I use Microsoft wireless 3000 and mouse and LOVE IT! $33 http://www.amazon.com/Microsof.....B001S4OTS6 The mouse has the bluetrack technology; can use on any surface.
I have http://www.amazon.com/Logitech.....319&sr=1-1 if you decide to return the one you have. I love it. I have my comp hooked to my tv in the living room so I normally have trouble with wireless ones losing signal but not at all with this one. I picked the set up on sale for $20 and couldn't be happier.
Edit: Just realized the same set I mentioned was the one that was sold out. Guess my info doesn't help too much. Sorry!
Just placed an order for the MK 260 from RS ( ship to store ) when I go to pick that up am going to return the EX 100. The keys are just toooo soft. I need some clickety click. Also the mouse feels very light - plasticky ( like DEbs mentioned earlier - cheap build). Am not really expecting a very high quality unit but decent build. Also the wireless keyboard does not have Caps Lock / Num Lock / Scroll Lock lights. I need the caps lock light.
The MK260 also does not have lights for the caps/num/scroll locks. I find that to be better in my circumstances as the lights I'm sure drain the batteries faster. I can't remember what the program is called but you can download something that will show at the bottom right of your screen if any of the locks are on. I'd search for it but I don't have the time right now sorry! It's built into Windows 7 though if you have that. I've had the set for approximately 7 months of heavy use (and kids toying around with it alot) and haven't had to change the batteries so that's a big plus. I've gone through numerous keyboards with my kids spilling stuff on them all the time and by far this is my favorite. Water has been the only thing spilled in it so far and it's still alive and kicking.
Thanks, that does look like a sweet deal. I already got a MK 520 from Logitech.com. Used one of those 50% off coupons. Ended up getting it for $29.99 too.
