Need a good wireless mouse

I'm looking for a decent wireless mouse. I would like one to be able to sit on the couch and use my laptop that is sitting next to my TV(about 8 feet away).

I originally purchased this http://www.staples.com/Logitec.....rea=SEARCH which worked great, but it had a very long corded sensor.

Then I traded that one for this http://www.staples.com/Microso.....rea=SEARCH . Now I have the perfect little usb sensor, but the mouse needs to be less than 3 feet away to work.

Anybody have experience with a decent, and relatively inexpensive mouse?

I have this http://www.amazon.com/Logitech.....B000HCUTU2 it's the cordless desktop set but I love it. I don't have time right now to search and find the mouse seperately but I will in a little bit. The receiver is pretty much the same size as a flash drive and can either be plugged in directly to a front usb and works well (just gotta watch the kids) or plugged into an included extension cable type thing. My set up is approximately 10 feet away.

I am using this little mouse from Dell and I love it!

Just tested the distance and it works across the room just fine

No longer available from dell. Did it come with a bluetooth adapter? Or would I need to have a bluetooth ready laptop?

Seems like most bluetooth ones i've found are rated at 30 feet.
