Google's Linux-based Chrome operating system may challenge Microsoft's dominance of the OS space when it launches in late 2010. But Microsoft is working on its own browser-OS hybrid project, code-named Gazelle, to counter Google's advances. As far as Chrome is concerned, Intel has said it is working with Google on the project, and Dell said it would consider testing the OS but stopped short of committing to offer any Chrome-based products.
