Mabye Later...

submitted on December 13, 2008 by Bionicle in "Member's Lounge"
Ok guys, I'm not going to be on for a while until things pick up in voting. I might post an occasional deal but I give up. I just can't compete against the higher level people. Maybe in a week or two I might come back, but for now, good bye.

I was thinking that as well LadyZaxxon. That and with six contest monthly prize slots open its easier to get a larger prize at the end of the month, as its the most monthly prizes Buxr has ever offered. Additionally, I've slowed down my submissions quite a bit this month, to make it easier for some others to take a monthly spot. I have not withdrawn entirely, but I wanted to give some more deal space for the newer people to take advantage of.

Sadly we seem to be hemorrhaging voters, and picking more non-voters as time progresses. Some of our newbies, and a few older members, seem to be neglecting the importance of voting, and nobody else seems to be taking that into account. Voting helps, but its not the only factor. I tested that theory last month by casting a record breaking 600+ votes, and still only garnered second place. Now what is still interesting though, is that for those looking closely, on average a minimum of 40-50% of a persons score by month end who wins a monthly contest spot is accumulated through "support votes", where a point is received. (Just food for thought.)

PS: Glad to hear you will stick around. Dropping out just makes it easier on those others working for a monthly prize spot. I've found that after the second week it becomes to easy to tell who will take a spot at month end, simply because so many people stop submitting and drop out.
