lane bryant and cacique....question regarding identical coupon codes

submitted on August 21, 2014 by mdshopper1 in "Buxr Website / Contests"
i had asked a question on one of the deals and did not get a response, so i will ask here. Smile

i know that lane bryant and cacique are affiliated. if a deal is identical and the code is identical then is it still considered a different deal? in other words, can you use the same information, but label one lane bryant and then label one cacique?

Here is a link to the more than one store section of the wiki, this should answer your question

Each Buxr deal is assigned a store and at this time we don't have functionality to assign more than one store to a single deal. This is usually not a problem for 'Product' type deals, however there are certain merchants that operate several store brands and often reuse coupons across the stores. If you want to share 'Sale' or 'Coupon' that can be used at multiple stores, please submit it as several separate deals - one per each store.

most of the time the codes themselves are different though for these particular stores though, that is why those two in my original post confused me.

gap, piperlime, old navy, banana republic all use the same credit cards, but the codes themselves to use on each of the sites are different.

To confirm what sandyshore already said, the answer is 'yes'. It is perfectly OK to submit the same code for one store and then another, even if they are both owned by the same parent company.
