After 19 reports of the chairs falling from table surfaces, including five reports with injuries, Colorado-based phil&teds USA Inc. has recalled 54,000 of the "metoo" clip-on chairs they imported. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission had issued a warning in May 2011 that the chairs were not safe.

A repair kit is available that will make the ‘metoo’ clip-on chairs safe for children to use, and parents are encouraged not use the product until it is repaired.
