Kids can make a planter in the free week-end workshop at Home Depot

submitted on April 30, 2010 by HouTex in "Stores / Merchants"
On Saturday, May 1 2010 from 9 a.m. until noon, kids can make a picket fence planter at Home Depot. Designed for kids 5-12, these free workshops teach do-it-yourself skills and tool safety, while instilling a sense of accomplishment. They're offered on the first Saturday of each month.

In addition to the newly constructed project kit, each child receives a kid-sized orange apron, similar to The Home Depot associates' aprons, and an achievement pin.

Maybe you should pick a nice plant for it and give to Mom instead! Wink
It would definitely look better with a flowering plant.
Would a kid-size orange apron fit you? You'll earn an achievement pin to put on it.
