I was approving a couple of deals just now and noticed that JCPenney maintains two websites/domains that look the same but spell differently (note the missing 'e' in the second domain name):

2.
http://jcpenny.com
Both link will open to their own domain name but will look exactly the same. I wonder why the company will not redirect the second domain to the first one to prevent the confusion? By maintaining two domains like this they give this typo credibility it doesn't need
