Improve Laptop Battery Life by taking Simple Steps

This is going to come super handy

* Buy smart: Look for notebooks with low power consuming processors like the Intel’s “CULV” “Consumer Ultra-Low Voltage” processors or AMD processors with “cool & Quiet” feature.

* Dim screen brightness: Choose an environment with adequate lighting—less brightness means you’ll drain less power from your battery.Use the Function key (Fn) available in most of the laptops to dim the brightness.

Also, do not block air intake, if needed use a platform to raise the back of the laptop for adequate ventilation. Overheated laptop = constantly working fan = power drain

Also, when you don't need it, turn off wi-fi radio as it is a big drainer of power. Many newer laptops even have a switch to turn it off easily.

Good tip, didn't realize the drain of power.
