Yes. When you go to resubmit, the old deal should come up, and Buxr will ask you if you want to resubmit the deal.

Ok, I just submitted a deal that was expired but I did it as a new deal instead of going through the old deal. Should i cancel it and do it the way you just told me?

The dupe is not always detected automatically. This is one of those cases when you have to redo the work. Sad

I deleted the other one and started again. I even used the old link that was submitted under the old deal but it still took it as a new deal and never showed me the old deal for re-submit.

Someone is gonna flag this as an old deal.

Just in case that happens, it's the sony FEDEX card deal and you know the story on it.

I found the original deal: http://www.buxr.com/deal/free-.....card_14808
The expiration on it is set January 31. The description mentions the same date. It looks like Sony extended the promotion

The link is the same and the terms are the same, only the date changed. Your deal is a duplicate. I will update the expiration on the original deal and flag it as alive again.

Here are the rules from the wiki - http://www.buxr.com/wiki/rules.....cate_deals

The product deals and coupon codes are the ones most likely flagged automatically. The sales are not, and searching the store first is the best way to catch the ones that can or should be updated.
