How to Post In-Store Coupon + Online Code Deals

submitted on March 22, 2010 by HouTex in "Buxr Website / Contests"
When posting a deal that has both a printable coupon and an online code, which link should be used for the deal, and which goes in the comments? Does it matter? And should this be in the wiki?

Yes, and I got the answer! For others who didn't see it in the comments of the specific deal, here's what Yan said:
We consider Buxr a site for online shopping and any online offer has precedence over in-store one, even the contest prizes are larger Smile

I should have known that. Red Face Well, I do now.

This by no means implies you should not post in-store deals. There are certain stores with in-store coupons having a much greater value (e.g. Petsmart or Walgreens) and I am sure these will attract substantial vote love when posted.

If however the coupon submission includes both, the online code and in-store coupon, I prefer to see the website when I click through rather than the printable coupon. This is especially true when the printable coupon is a stripped out image with nothing else. Case in point:

Add "in-store" or "printable" in the title and mention in the deal instructions that the link to the printable coupon is available in the comments. This is the best way to go about it.
